The
All India Gems and Jewellery Trade Federation (GJF) is an apex body
representing the domestic industry for the promotion and growth of gems
and jewellery across India. GJF has come together, for managing various
aspects of transparent business practices and efficient organization of
business in the gems and jewellery industry, GJF was formulated in
early 2005 to focus on the bigger picture.
GJF unites manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and exporters all over
India for a common interest. This shapes and influences the industry's
future and brings integration and opulence amongst its members, while
protecting the interest of the customers at the same time.
Our Objectives:
- To represent the industry on national issues affecting the smooth functioning of business with the Government.
- To promote proficient trade practice, by structuring high quality standards in every aspect of business.
- Updating the members, via a common web site, newsletters, promotional activities road shows, seminars and
conferences on the new developments.
- Promoting
the industry, by organizing events on a national level, trying to
enhance indigenous markets by uplifting the industry and enhancing the
joy of shopping for gems and jewellery in the country.
- Initiating
educational, research and training institutes that help in developing
superior quality and high standards for effective functioning of the
industry
